This study aims to analyze emerging scientific themes and trends in service quality research in sports tourism to explore future research directions. Researchers can find out about neglected cases and hot research in those areas and consider them in their future research. This research was scientometrics research and social network analysis was used to investigate co-authorship and co-occurrence of vocabulary and cooperation coefficient. The research population consisted of studies of journals indexed in Web of Science until May 2023 and 77 articles on the quality of services in sports tourism were selected as samples and analyzed using VOSviewer software. The findings showed that service quality research in sports tourism had reached the highest in 2020 and the United States conducted the most research in this area. Before 2019, the words satisfaction, behavioral intentions, loyalty, motivation and destination image were the most frequent words and the words World Cup، economic effects، sporting events، physical environment, bibliometric analysis، attitude and hospitality were the most frequent after 2019. The highest amount of citations was related to Shonk et al. (2008). Therefore, according to the findings of the research, researchers in the field of service quality in sports tourism can identify citation articles, index authors, reputable journals, as well as common keywords in recent years and plan their future research based on these cases.
